Thunder: Seven of Eight

The seventh dragon for Issac Wolfe on gaiaonline, the dragon of thunder/lightning.

This....had to be one of my best coloring jobs. It took 3-4 of them to get back into the colored pencil style after having done multimedias' and watercolor... I had to retake pics...I forgot to draw in the scales from his belly on....durrrrrrrr.
The parameters for this were to be colored with dark yellows and oranges...I added some blues and purple on his scales to further emphasize lightning, it's not just yellow and orange, blue lightning is pretty!
I really love his wings, I added some details to the joints, so it kind of resembles rolling thunder...to me anyhow.
My only complaint is the I think it resembles Volteer from Spyro too much...might be where I got some of my ideas.... but all the same it looks good.
